CCIM designess are recognized as leading experts in commercial investment real estate. The CCIM designation represents proven expertise in the following areas:
Financial Analysis
Market Analysis to include focus on forecasting rents and rent growth, population growth, and trends in the market place
Investment Analysis
Lease Analysis From both the Landlord’s and Tenant’s perspective
Advanced negotiation tactics
Students must take multiple classes that focus on the above areas and pass a cumulative exam that is held twice per year. Currently, only about 6% of all real estate agents hold this designation.
